Cheap Chinese electronics, cheap Chinese translations
Sunday, September 12th, 2010 by AriI got a cheap cable tester recently from www.cheap-chinese-electronics-that-you-shouldn’t-let-your-kids-put-in-their-mouths.com. The instructions were, as expected, cheaply translated from Chinese. Amongst the indephirable sentences and misspelled words are the instructions for testing the two types of cables – “Test by cables of the same BNC Axes” and “Test by Twin-twisted Cables”. (I’m fairly certain they mean coaxial cable and unshielded twisted pair). Good things this tool is idiot proof.
