As with most local elections, though, violations abound.  (It&#039;s technically illegal for candidates to put up signage on buildings or public areas without a permit, but that&#039;s never stopped anyone).
Somehow, though, I doubt anyone going to vote is going to be swayed by a green or yellow sign telling them to vote for X.  If you&#039;ve taken the trouble to show up at all, you probably already know who you&#039;re going to vote for.
