borf

October 30th, 2006 by admin

This actually happened a long time ago now, but Borf was sentenced to a month in jail, 200 hours of community service, and $12,000 in restitution. I must admit to really liking the judge’s attitude and reasons for the sentence (read the whole article for the details) although I was really hoping for something a little more strict. I was hoping for 6 months in jail, during which time he would be forced to share a jail cell with an insane rapist, 1 full year of DC sanitation duty, during which time his primary job would be to clean up the city (including, but not limited to graffitti), and a steal cage death match with a lion. (If PETA disapproved of the lion, I would be more than happy to fill in).

I guess we shall have to show you what Civilization is. Maybe I will use that new Borf card on your cities.

Oooooh! now THAT would be a great optional calamity: “Borf” a level 1, tradable calamity – causes one city to not produce any trade cards that turn (in fact, just by existing it does that).
