Steven Colbert is a genius. He actually managed to get a congressman to say “I enjoy cocaine because it’s a fun thing to do” on the air. He then followed up with a line so funny I almost fell out of bed. watch the whole clip

I look at the current Dodgers-Mets series and I see missed opportunities.
- Although we get to see both Maddux and Glavine, two former teammates and sure hall of famers at the tail ends of their careers, they’re not currently scheduled ot pitch against one another. I think if they did the story lines would be great for both of them.
- The Dodgers missed a serious opportunity in the second when they had 2 men thrown out at the plate in one play. Had they scored, or even stayed put, the Dodgers would most likely have won.
- J.D. Drew missed his chance to get “injured” this year. Now the most over-hyped “power hitter” in the game had to play a career high 146 games, and he has to play in a postseason too. Poor baby. (Yes, I still hold a grudge. Why do you ask?)
- We’re missing the chance to see if Pedro still has it at age 387. (Or whatever he’s up to now).
