It’s 7:45 in the morning. I just emailed in my final paper in my final class to my professor. That’s it. I’m done. After 17 1/2 years of formal schooling I’m finally done. When I first started this long adventure I was sucking my thumb and was illiterate. By now Ive pretty much kicked the thumb sucking habit, although there’s only so much about a person that school can change, so I’m still illiterate. :-)

Now comes the real question: what do I do first? Do I start going through old notebooks and throw them away? Sell my textbooks online? Burn all my college files to CD and delete them from my HD? Drink heavily to celebrate? I’m really at an absolute loss here.

For my final project in my electronic voting class I’m doing a project that studies visual cryptography. I’m trying to find the best way to encode readable text in as small an area as possible. What I need to know now are which methods of encoding are easiest for people to read. I’ve set up a page where you can go and look at 16 different pictures, all of which have the letter “A” in them and vote for the one that’s easiest to read. It should only take 20 seconds and would be a huge help to me. Pleae go vote now.

Ken Jennings, AKA Jeopardy Ken has lost. This of course brings rise to a whole new trivia question: Who is Nancy Zerg? This shouldn’t be too much of a shock to most people who spend as much time online as I do, as the info and an audio tape were both leaked a while ago.
